Burglars In, Dog Out -- With Tennis Ball

CROWNSVILLE, Md. -- If you've ever had a dog bug you
to death to play fetch, you're going to love this
goofy dog story.

It involves an 8-year-old golden retriever found
wandering a neighborhood outside Annapolis. He had a
yellow tennis ball in his mouth.

It turns out Henry, the dog, got loose while his
owner's home was being burglarized. Henry's owner was
identified from the dog's microchip ID.

Some watch dog, huh? The crooks got in through a
sliding glass door, and Henry got out with the tennis
ball.

There's no word on whether Henry took the ball with
him or the crooks threw it and Henry followed.
